Beatiful waterfall on Ilhabela, Brazil

Hi there, welcome to WalkGlobe!

Hello! We’re Joyce and Lars. Our journey began in São Paulo, took us across oceans and back, and now we explore Brazil (and beyond) side by side. When we plan our trips, we try to balance both our interests: Lars is drawn to adventure, hiking, and remote places, while Joyce enjoys exploring local culture, the beauty in things, and great food. This means we always put extra thought into our itineraries to make sure we both have an amazing experience. Joyce is Brazilian and a freelance designer with her own studio, bringing a creative touch to everything we do. Lars is a software engineer from Germany, taking care of all the technical details. Together, we decided to combine our skills and share our travel experiences to help you plan your perfect trip.

We understand that there are already countless travel blogs, restaurant guides, and booking websites. Our mission is different: to make travel planning easy and intuitive by focusing on essential information. Initially, we started planning trips for friends and family, which honed our skills in creating seamless travel experiences. Now, with WalkGlobe, we aim to extend this expertise to a wider audience. We help you decide where to go, how long to stay, and what to see, without overwhelming you with details. Our initial focus is on Brazil, a beautiful yet complex country for first-time visitors. We aim to simplify your travel planning, offering insights based on our experiences to help you explore with ease.
